The Ice Movement Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting ice sports, located in Belgrade, Serbia. We are fully committed to reviving ice sports in Serbia and want to share our passion with athletes, coaches, and the wider community, both nationally and internationally. Our goal is to bring the love, respect, and dedication we have for ice sports to the people of Serbia and beyond.

    Only 400,000 people are engaged in some form of organized sports in Serbia. This is 6.06% of the entire population of Serbia.

  • 4.5% OF ACTIVE COLLEGE STUDENTS

    Only 4.5% of college students play some sport.

  • 70,000 WOMEN PLAY SPORTS

    Only 70,000 women play some form of sport, that's less than 1% of New York City's population.

  • 0.017% OF PEOPLE PLAY SOME ICE SPORT 

    The female population is 0.00306%, and the male population engaged in some form of ice sport is 0.01934%.

Who we are

We are a non-profit organization that advocates for ice sports with our headquarters in Belgrade, Serbia. We believe in teamwork and love of the ice and sports, which is why there is a strong desire, will and commitment to change the current circumstances in which our sports, athletes and coaches are in our country.

Our work

By organizing sports festivals, developmental sports programs, skating schools, humanitarian events, ice exhibitions, we want to invite citizens to support us in growing awareness and creating a community that will enable us to revive our sports, and therefore enjoy our performances, tournaments and races.

Our programs and workshops exist for the betterment and positive development of the emotional, mental and physical health of our athletes and our community, as well as various entertainment for our little ones and everyone interested in ice.
